Our girls are natural omnivores, so while we provide them a carefully balanced supplemental feed that is free of animal by-products, out on the pastures they get to enjoy a natural buffet of grasses, worms and bugs, a diet that also makes for more nutritious eggs. Because the more they forage, the better the eggs, all our farms are in parts of the country that have climates that allow the hens to be outside year round not too dry in the summer, or too cold in the winter. Just like Goldilocks but without the bears!
