Also known as rice noodles, these sticks are made from rice flour. Many cultures use this type of noodle in China. They are called mai-fun or mi-fun; in Indonesia they are called beehoon, laska or mihoon; referred to as senmee in Thailand, ph’o bhan-hoi in Vietnam and pancit or pancit-bihon in the Philippines.
