The blend is “cultured” to achieve the signature tangy flavor, and active acidophilus and bifidus probiotics are added. Vegetarian microbial enzymes (such as the enzymes used to create many Organic Valley cheeses) are introduced to enhance the body of the cream and provide velvety texture.
